Congratulations to the TOP 50 beauties on the globe!

Let’s go over some interesting facts about our 10th list of the most stunning beauties in the universe:

* In GB Top 50 list’s 10th anniversary, for the first time ever a woman elected Miss Universe is not found in the list. Stefania Fernandes ranked 52nd is is out of the dispute;

* Miss Universe is not the only Grand Slam winner eliminated on this early stage of the competition: Russia’s Ekaterina Grushanina, the controversial winner of Miss Tourism Queen International 2009, ranked 66th;

* After two tragic years for Miss Earth winners (in 2007 and 2008 Miss Earth winners ranked in the bottom 10, with Carla Henry of the Philippines in a shameful 97th last year), a winner from the Manila-based pageant returns to the ‘top 50′: Larissa Ramos of Brazil is one of the 50 most beautiful;

* If the winner of Miss Tourism Queen is out of the game, the ‘baby pageant’ of the Grand Slam managed to have a record number of candidates in the top 50: 7. Miss Earth and Miss International have 9 each, Miss World has 14, and Miss Universe has 15. It’s one of the most equilibrated years ever;

* Out of the 50, the American continent has the most beauties featured in the list: 20. It’s followed by Europe with 16, Asia with 9, Africa with 3, and Oceania with 2;

* The country which has performed the best so far is Brazil, with four of its 5 Grand Slam beauties present in the ‘Top 50′. Mexico and Spain follow close with 3 each.

* 10 out of the 50 were not even semi-finalists in their respective pageants, which represents a considerable disapproval of the Grand Slam judges’ choices last year.

Who will be Dayana Mendoza’s successor? Next our judges will select the Top 20. Stay tuned!!
