MARACAIBO, October 28 - 24-year old Vanessa Goncalves (front, left), a professional dentist from Caracas, was crowned Miss Venezuela 2010 during the annual show held at the Palacio de Eventos in Maracaibo on Thursday, October 28th.
The 1.77 m beauty, who is also a jeweler, will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant to be held next July.
Crowned as Miss World Venezuela was major favorite Miss Amazonas, Ivian Sarcos (front, right). The 21-year old student of International Relations comes from the state of Portuguesa. At 1.80 m in height, she will compete at the Miss World 2011 pageant.
23-year old Jessica Barboza Schmidt won the Miss International Venezuela title. The 1.74 m lawyer will compete at the Miss International 2011 pageant to be held next November in China.
For the first time, the Miss Venezuela pageant crowned Miss Venezuela Earth, she is 18-year old Caroline Medina, Miss Aragua. Standing at 1.78 m in height, she will compete at the Miss Earth 2011 pageant to be held in the Philippines.
The 1st runner-up was Miss Monagas, Angela Julieta Ruiz from Maturin.
Among these ladies and the rest of the Top 10, the representatives to Miss Supranational, Reina Hispanoamericana, International Queen of Coffee and Miss Atlantico International will be chosen.
