Claudia Elena Schiess Fretz (21, 1.72m, Santa Cruz) was crowned Miss Ecuador 2011 at the Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas Convention Center. She will represent Ecuador in Miss Universe 2011 in Sao Paulo, Brazil next September (photo above, right).
The first runner-up, crowned Miss Ecuador Mundo 2011, is María Verónica Vargas Granja (21, 1.75m, Guayas) and she will go to Miss World 2011 next December (photo above, left).

Miss Galapagos, Claudia Schiess crowned Miss Ecuador 2011
Miss Galapagos, Claudia Elena Schiess Fretz from Santa Cruz was crowned Miss Ecuador 2011 held on March 17 at Recinto Ferial de Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo de los Colorados. New beauty queen 21 year old was crowned by Miss Ecuador 2010, Lady Fernanda Mina.
The show will be broadcast live by Gama TV and to be hosted by Roberto Rodriguez. The panel of judges are Gionni Straccia, Rafael Araneda, Edwin Rosario and Stefania Fernandez, Miss Universe 2009.
